Islam has been part of Jamaica for centuries

Islam first reached these shores with West Africans brought to Jamaica during the plantation era, and today the faith lives in mosques and mission houses across the island. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has served Jamaica for decades, teaching that love for all and hatred for none is the very essence of Islam.
